Hi! I am a 20 something girl from Devon, UK who has just moved across the world to Virginia Beach, USA. I married a Scottish guy in the Navy who managed to get a posting to this amazing place so why not?! 3 years off work, by the beach, incredible weather – who wouldn’t?!
Everyone asked me how I will fill my time because I’m bound to get bored. I naively thought I’d find loads to do despite being alone for 8 hours of the day and not knowing anyone except my husband…but alas 2 weeks in and here I am writing a blog! My plan for this blog is to write about my experiences out here, adjusting to a new life on a different continent.
I also plan to try a new hobby every few weeks so you will be the first to hear about how they have gone (I predict terribly!) and whether I recommend them or not. Any hobby suggestions for me to try please comment – the wackier the better.
